This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a first year teacher in northern Arizona. Buying and stocking a whole classroom on my own is a large financial task for me as I have just graduated college! I am specifically needing a bookshelf to ensure my students have a classroom library. I also want a class set of whiteboard and clipboards for all of my students to use. I could also use more storage baskets in order to maintain an organized classroom.

I also want to continue to grow my classroom library with books that are representative of my students' cultures and identities.

I want to ensure that my students have the best 2nd grade year. This year is so special to me because these students will be my first ever group of students that are my own!
