My Project

Hello! My Name is Kris McDaniel, but my students call me Miss M. It has been a life-long dream of mine to become a teacher. A few years ago, at the age of 29, that dream finally came true. I have been blessed with an amazing team of colleagues who took me in and helped me gather supplies my first couple of years, but as I gain experience, I also continue to gain ideas of what my kids need to be both safe and successful in my classroom. As someone with a family member who is immunodeficient, I deeply value a clean space to keep both my family and my students and their own families safe. The Clorox wipes are perfect for this task. I also try to train students to be organized in their schooling and their life, so having plenty of colored folders is a must! The rolling cart will be used to create a greeting station at the door, holding both supplies for the day and students' cellphones so that they can be fully in the moment with their classmates each day.
