My Project

Last year, so many of my amazing students missed out on their kindergarten education and came into first grade behind on the fundamental skills they need to be successful. COVID-19 has made learning a challenge due to decreased opportunities for hands-on learning, group or partner work, and increased levels of stress at school and at home. Being a first year teacher, I have minimal supplies so these materials will help me to plan more involved activities for my students that can be more fun, visual and creative! My kiddos are so sweet and eager to learn and I hope to give them a wonderful, first grade experience.
