This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a first-year kindergarten teacher eager to build a classroom that is welcoming, engaging, and organized. For many of my students, this will be their first time in a school setting, and I want their first experience with learning to be joyful and meaningful. I’m committed to creating a space where every child feels safe, inspired, and excited to explore. Help me give my students essential classroom tools and materials to support their learning, creativity, and daily routines during our first year together.

This project includes items such as dry-erase boards, reusable sleeves, a classroom rug, organizational carts and bins, art supplies, and manipulatives.

These will allow me to lead small groups, keep materials accessible and tidy, and give students hands-on ways to learn and grow.
