it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
How well do you work when you're hungry? How much more productive are you when all you have to do is focus on the task at hand?
I began to get asked on a daily basis for snacks.
All I had to offer was nutrigrain bars and Belvita cookies. I expected my kids to reject the snacks because they weren't Takis, but to my surprise, they accepted the snack and came back for more!
My students are eager to learn, but, for a variety of reasons, not all of my students are able to eat breakfast before they arrive to school. It's unrealistic to expect students to give their best effort when their bellies are rumblings.
