My Project

The donated supplies will be used to support hands-on learning activities in our first grade classroom. My students will have the opportunity to collaborate and solve puzzles together to help them understand the math and reading standards in first grade.

The books will allow students to hear modeled, fluent reading and support them academically, emotionally, and socially through the messages talked about in the books.

Students will also have easy, organized access to our reading books throughout the year with our bookcase. This will give students the opportunity to re-read these books through the words and pictures on the page. Due to COVID-19, all students yearned for the opportunity for hands-on learning. These supplies will help us do that.

Flexible seating options make my classroom welcoming and inviting. They give my students the best opportunity to learn and succeed.

All these supplies will give each student an equal opportunity to succeed in school and prepare them for second grade.
