This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The title of this project says it all. Throughout the day, no matter the period, time or weather, our students are always looking for something to drink. In the past, they would take the hall pass and spend over 10 minutes either going to a water fountain or vending machine to get something to drink (most times they came back with juice or soda).
Once I started providing students with water, in-class attendance has remained high with little disruptions for students to use the pass.
Students know they can come to our classroom when they have a need. This sort of care for basic needs improves our relationships and classroom community. These results keep me coming back hoping to have my water projects fulfilled by the generous benefactors of Donors Choose.
