Help me give my students exciting chapter books like Misfits, Schooled, and Slugfest because the first step in getting kids to read is finding books that they will LOVE.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is for my excellent students! I work with small groups of gifted students who are gifted in reading and math and achieve above-level results. Our school is in a high poverty zone, with students coming from low socioeconomic status homes. My classroom is a place for my students to access books, lessons, and special projects. My students crave meaningful academic experiences with books!
I want to get new exciting chapter books like Misfits, Schooled, and Slugfest because the first step in getting kids to read is finding books they will love.
I aim to fill our classroom library with books that appeal to readers. The books that were selected for this project are of high interest. One of the books, "Slugfest," is about a group of unlikely students who form a bond. Another book, "Misfits," is about a big mess of trouble. "Schooled" is about a student starting a new school, actually starting his first school ever, and trying to fit in.
Please help me fund this project so that I can put these fantastic new books into the hands of my amazing young students!
