My Students

My students are incredible! My students are in kindergarten, first, second, third, and fourth grade. They are curious, inquisitive, hardworking, and dedicated. All of my students have Individualized Educational Plans because they have been diagnosed with disabilities.

All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch at school.

They come from high poverty areas, and they all love coming to school. My students are brilliant individuals who learn differently than their peers. These students will be successful, and it's my job to create learning opportunities that ensure this.

My Project

We love our organized, safe, and comfortable space! In general, there are many pieces to the puzzle of a successful classroom. One of the most pertinent pieces to this puzzle is the organization. When one hears the word “organization”, they likely assume it is simply tidiness or a certain precision when determining the placement of items. However, the organization implies much more than “where things go.” The main components of organization in the classroom are effective class management, creating a positive learning environment, and the physical set-up of the room.

A learning environment is a great attribute to the success of the learner as it offers a positive ambiance to feel motivated and engaged.

We need more laminating pouches for the papers that need to be kept safe, more scissors for projects, and flashcard rings/hole punches for our fact fluency. Getting more of these materials will help us continue to have an organized, safe, and comfortable space where we can thrive.
