Help me give my students misc. classroom supplies. The supplies here are very expensive at the store here in Savoonga, 2-3 times the price they would be in Anchorage
These supplies would be great to have on hand. The store here in Savoonga runs out of supplies, and sometimes we have to wait till the next good weather for planes to come and restock. Sometimes, we can wait days or even weeks in the winter time. On top of low supplies and weather dependent on planes, the items at the one store here in Savoonga, Alaska, are 2-3 times higher in price than what we would pay for in Anchorage, Alaska.
Dish soap and hand soap: these two items are always handy to have on hand in the classroom-sometimes we wait a while for maintenance to change the soap dispenser, and the dish soap is always handy to wash a few dishes
Propel tablets: sick season has come. Sometimes students can be out for days with sickness
Dry erase number line: our Alaska Native students are hands-on learners, so providing them with manipulatives or hands-on activities is what is best for them. These dry erase number line whiteboards would help those who need a little extra help in addition or subtraction
Bookmarks: we have a classroom library. These bookmarks with fuzz on top would help them be able to mark where they took books out, and be able to find where they put them back easily
Turn in trays: these would be helpful for keeping track of unfinished book projects
Type c chargers: these chargers would be helpful to charge their wireless headphones, as the chargers we have have been breaking
Step stool: this would be helpful for short students when they're reaching for something that's too high
Air purifier: an air purifier would help our classroom environment
