Help me give my students books that represent their cultures! I am trying to represent cultures my students relate to.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from a variety of backgrounds. Many languages are spoken at my school. My 8- to 9-year-olds have a thirst for knowledge and lots of energy. They come to school eager to learn something new each day.
They are really great scholars who want to be at school every day, and they inspire me to give my best to them each day.
I want to make sure I have all the things I need to make each day count.
My Project
Now that I am teaching from home, I want to have access to a variety of texts that represent my students for our daily read aloud. Each day we will begin out time together talking about our identities and who we are as a class.
My class represents at least 4 languages and many more cultures.
Having books that 'mirror' their culture is important to them. This way, they are more apt to talk and make connections to books. Students love to see representations of themselves in books. These books will represent them in positive ways.
