My Students

My students are determined, engaged, so much fun, and CURIOUS! As a Science teacher, I could ask for nothing better! I am fortunate to have the opportunity to explore more hands-on-learning with my students through lab activities. The lab equipment we currently have is "okay" but it could definitely use an upgrade! This, however, gets expensive. Your donation will go towards helping us acquire new equipment that we can use to continue exploring science and grow a love for learning!!

My Project

Your donation to this project will allow my students to get HANDS-ON with science! Many of the pieces of equipment listed in this project are not even seen by students until they are in college. THAT IS TOO LATE!! Students need exposure to these pieces of equipment as early as possible. Access to and experience with these kinds of equipment allow students an advantage in a competitive college environment while also giving them more time to understand the WHY behind the equipment. What does the equipment do? Why is it useful? Why do I use this instead of this? Those questions are difficult for students to answer without having the opportunity to USE those pieces of equipment!
