My Students
We (PE department) service all students in the school. Within the school, we have a very diverse population. We have students that come from traditional and non-traditional home situations.
Our students not only have diverse backgrounds, but they also come to us with a variety of needs and accommodations. We have students in wheelchairs, autism, social and emotional needs, and a variety of religious and cultural backgrounds.
My Project
We are so excited to be able to provide MES students with lots of new and updated equipment. We need lots of updated equipment and replenish what we have since many of the items are showing wear and tear.
We are hoping to get some Frisbee golf holes ( great socially distanced activity), bowling equipment, and replenish some bean bags and balls. We would also like to introduce balancing activities to the Kinder- 3rd-grade students. Our main goal is to introduce students to a variety of activities to encourage life long activity.
