Mini-Round Carpets for Read-Alouds and Small Groups
Help me give my students a clean spot to gather on the carpet. We recently had to dispose of our classroom rug due to tear and wear. These rugs are so easy clean and store!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a second-grade teacher seeking resources to provide my students with equal opportunities to be successful in their education.
My classroom consists of diverse and extraordinary scholars!
Most of my students are English Language Learners who come from a low socio-economic background. Many of my students often face challenges in and out of school. Some with academics, others with health issues. But despite these challenges and obstacles, they strive to learn, be kind, and succeed in all that they do!
My Project
These mini-round carpets are light and easy to maintain, as needed, versus the traditional 6ft x 9ft!
These mini-round carpets are perfect not only for whole group read-alounds and/or lessons but also for small groups.
It is ideal for Restorative Justice Community Circles! Also, during Reader's Workshop students will have access to them as part of our flexible seating. It will also be used for partner reading or independent reading.
It is very important that my students have a clean place to sit when sitting on the floor. Thank you in advance for supporting my project for these wonderful and amazing second graders! They are so excited to know that there are people who support then without knowing them personally!
