My Project

These Minecraft-inspired magnetic building sets will be used in our STREAM Lab as sensory kits to build children's cognitive, physical, and social-emotional skills with an engaging theme that they will absolutely love!

My goal for this project is to provide my students with opportunities to build creatively while developing other skills such as collaboration, communication, and critical thinking.

I have the joy and privilege of teaching diverse learners, from non-verbal kindergarteners with special needs to gifted students who seek out individualized enrichment opportunities. Many of my students enjoy creative and tactile challenges.

Since these sensory building kits will be located in our STREAM Lab, all students, regardless of their age, grade, or academic levels, will be able to access the materials.
