This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, learning takes energy—and so does building strong reading and writing skills! Many of my students come to school hungry or without snacks, which can make it harder for them to stay focused and engaged during literacy activities and tutoring sessions.
We’re requesting a variety of snacks, including Goldfish Crackers, mini cookies, pretzels, Slim Jims, and multigrain chips, to keep our students energized throughout the day.
These snacks will help them power through small group reading lessons, writing practice, and bilingual literacy centers with full tummies and ready minds.
Your support will provide not just food but also the care and encouragement our students need to succeed. Together, we can fuel their love of reading and ensure they have the energy to grow as confident, capable learners.
