My Project
I am requesting these hands-on and sensory materials to help my students succeed in the classroom. My students are all medically fragile and need to have a multi-sensory approach to learning in order to succeed. These materials will also help create a classroom where they feel safe and motivated. All of my students are nonverbal and visually impaired, which is why all materials must be laminated so they are able to touch reuse the items at hand. Due to the fact all of my students are nonverbal, I am asking for speech buttons to help them communicate with the staff and their peers. These toys being requested also will help with their sensory needs during their choice time they earn by completing tasks. This year we are focusing on mental health and social emotional learning and these supplies will help take that extra step for the students to understand their emotions and feelings. My main goal for my students this year is to succeed physically and emotionally! Thank you so much for all your kind donations, my students and staff appreciate it greatly!
