My Project
Wangenheim is a wonderfully diverse Title 1 school that serves a high population of military families, English Learners and students with disabilities. The number of students with mental health needs and anxiety has increased over the years. As a counseling department, we see those students more often and are trying to teach them skills to help improve their ability to stay in the classroom. Many of them benefit from having some form of fidget item or mindfulness tool to help them while they are in the classroom. Please help fund this project so we have some tools to offer the students to deal with some of their mental health struggles.
