Mindfulness Moments

Help me give my students tools like pop toys, calm strips and LEGOS that will enable them to practice self-management and social awareness.

My Project

Students will have the opportunity to be mindful through sensory relaxation tools, SEL books & games & crafts. They will learn how to manage strong emotions while finding positive ways to show gratitude and kindness to others.

Students will use the LEGOS and calm strips during small group counseling sessions and SEL classroom lessons and if they just need to take a short break to self regulate.

The craft foams will be used for making cards. Students can choose someone they would like to thank and make decorated sticky foam cards. It will help them to be mindful of the blessings and support that is given to them and help them to have a positive outlook in life. I am excited for them to use these resources!
