My Project
Our students are surrounded by an incredibly supportive staff but we lack the the resources needed to tackle the fallout of Covid. The gaps in social emotional learning are just as important as the academic ones. Once students feel safe, cared for, valued and fully seen they can thrive and really succeed in their academic classes. The supplies requested will be utilized my social studies classroom - specifically during Mindful Monday journal writing and Talk Tuesday in our community circle. The goal is create a space to process feelings so there is space to grow and learn. Thank you for your consideration!
