My Project
Mindfulness in the classroom is a great way to help students understand and cope with everyday stressful or anxious situations or thoughts. I would like to provide my students with some tools to help them do just that. The yoga mats and pillows will allow a comfortable spot for students to practice breathing and simple yoga poses. The mazes will allow for students to practice their mindfulness.
Allowing students to practice mindfulness in the classroom using yoga mats, cushions, and breathing books can help them be successful in their academics and everyday interactions with others.
Students will benefit from the different games to practice mindfulness as well. I will also be able to purchase additional mindfulness curriculum through Teachers Pay Teachers.
