My Project
This Earth tone area rug will be placed in our circle time and large group learning area. In each class, morning and afternoon, my students will be sitting on this rug. They will be introduced to new vocabulary, and learn new concepts while looking at pictures, reading, and music.
Having calming tones in my classroom helps my students focus and listen during learning times.
Research has found that a calming environment in classrooms helps student success, boosts relationships, and helps with social-emotional skills. This step in improving my classroom environment will help our students and staff create a calming learning environment.
