This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year AP Psychology teacher, I’m building a classroom where students feel seen, supported, and excited to learn. My students come from a low-income neighborhood, and many are taking their first AP class. They are bright, motivated, and deserve equal access to resources that set them up for success.

The items in this project will make AP Psychology more interactive, inclusive, and engaging.

Flashcards and whiteboard tools will make review sessions fun and effective. Feelings wheels, mental health posters, and emotional support plushies will help students explore key psychological concepts while supporting their own well-being. Bean bag chairs will create a realistic space for mock therapy sessions, and storage tools will help keep materials organized and accessible.
