This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Creating a classroom project will help students process information and raise awareness about mental health issues in their school or community. These materials, a printer, poster board, and markers, will help develop their ability to communicate effectively and creatively.

Printing physical copies of flyers, brochures, and posters enables students to share their research and insights with a broader audience.

My students will research mental health care systems, laws, and stigma across various regions. The project will encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and communicate important mental health information with others. This project will not only educate students about mental health but will also empower them to take an active role in promoting well-being within their community
