This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a diverse group with not only learning disabilities but physical as well. To support the whole student in my class, we engage in activities that strengthen the mind and the body. We begin each day with our morning routine of foundational skills and routine drills, followed by stretches and other exercises that support balance, and mental health.My goal is to continue to support the total child in my classroom.

The materials in this project will encourage my students to move and build physical strength while building the mind with basic academic skills in a fun way.

By funding this project, you’ll help our students build essential skills that enhance their independence and quality of life. Your generosity will bring smiles, movement, and progress to our classroom, empowering our students to reach their full potential.
