My Students

My students are considered severely disabled, but that's just a label. They are able to do so much and deserve so much more than our state school gives them.

My students are bubbly, caring, amazing, and inspiring.

I want to make their education experience amazing and give them everything they would have if they were able to be served in their home school district.

My Project

My students’ families often struggle with proving snacks for their students and rely on the one meal a day the school is required to provide to keep their student from being hungry for 9 hours. We all know how hard it is to to focus and learn when all you can think about it food. Giving my students a morning and afternoon snacks helps them feel less stressed about food and makes them better learners. My students will also benefit from this project by having wipes provided them in their own private bathroom box to clean off with and clean their face with so they do not have to feel ashamed about hygiene.
