Mileage Club Incentives

Help me give my students prizes for running and walking with our mileage club!

My Project

We want to get our students moving during recess so we are starting a Mileage Club! Please help encourage our students with fun incentives/ prizes to get and keep our kids moving!

We are hoping that our students will be more active during recess time as it helps with attention, memory and focus.

Studies show that children are often more settled after movement, leading to improvements in classroom behavior. Running in particular, increases circulation in the body and enhances brain function.

Plus, moving your body is just fun!

For every mile a student walks/ runs during their recess, they will receive a plastic foot. For every half marathon they walk/ run students will receive a paw print bracelet (we are the Cougars). They can even try to collect all of the bracelet colors too!

We will also have a contest to see which class can walk/ run the most each semester.

These prizes will add a little fun to our Mileage club. Thank you so much for helping fund this project!
