Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a teacher at a Title I, fine arts magnet school. My students are from different economics backgrounds. The majority of them are economically disadvantaged. Their home settings range from two-parent to single-parent homes. A majority of my students are of Spanish culture (or descent) or African-American.
My students are innovative, hard working, and most importantly, dreamers.
We focus on student-led education. My students display their eagerness to learn, and most importantly, the character traits that come with persistence and resilience.
My Project
This Calendar math kit will help my students become more literate in math concepts and critical thinking. With this resource, students will learn and practice crucial math skills like patterns, skip counting, counting, days of the week, place value, shapes, telling time, and financial literacy.
Children need to gain strong math skills in order to survive and understand their world.
This resource will be an effective recourse that guarantees that my students and math strong and ready to take on their world! By donating to his project, you are playing a huge roll in supporting strong and independent future mathematicians!
