Mighty Masks for Mighty Kids

Help me give my students fabric dye and face masks so that they cna design their own individual mask.

My Students

My students come to school eager to learn and most come from families that have limited resources for school supplies. They amaze me with their talent and creativity. They are excited to enter the art room and see the possibilities and opportunities that await them.

Most of my students come from low-income families and to not have the means to buy some of the necessary supplies for the upcoming year.

My Project

This year is going to be so different for my kids! They are going to have to wear face masks to school each day! It will be hard to know who is who with all those masks. some may have a hard time understanding why they have to wear a mask at all.

Students will decorate a washable face mask to wear to school.

Using fabric dye and fabric crayons, they will create their own design that will help them stand out in the class.

Students will learn about keeping themselves safe and how to protect others by wearing a face covering.
