This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will provide essential items to support the health, hygiene, and well-being of my middle school students, ensuring they can focus on their learning without unnecessary distractions. Feminine products, tissues, hand sanitizer, deodorant wipes, lotion, and sunscreen are critical for maintaining personal hygiene and comfort throughout the school day.

A vacuum and air filters will help keep our classroom clean and the air quality high, contributing to a healthy learning environment.

Additionally, providing protein bars will ensure that students who forget snacks can still stay energized and focused.

The goals for this project are to remove barriers to learning by addressing students' basic needs and creating a safe, clean, and supportive classroom environment. My students are special because they are resilient and eager to learn, but many face challenges that can interfere with their ability to fully engage in their education.

By providing these essential items, I aim to create an environment where students feel cared for and can concentrate on their academic growth. Success will be measured by improved student focus, participation, and overall well-being which will help them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
