This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My scholars are creative, motivating and well-rounded. They like working on hands-on activities, and projects tht are engaging and fun.
Everyone of my scholars love learning new things.
My scholars have different learning styles. For instance, some of them benefit from peer-tutoring, others benefit from one-on-one instruction. Some of them even benefit from constant modeling, and repetition.
The student live in low income families. They work hard, to do their very best.
The thing that I love most about my scholars is that they persevere, and they work hard to get through their school work.
My Project
Adding technology in our middle school classroom environment will allow our scholars to complete their I-Ready assignments. Our scholars will also be ready to complete their obligations to prepare for high school. For example, they need to type letters to get into some of the magnet schools, and schools out of district. With additional technology our scholars will be more engaged, and focused, because him or her will be working on hands-on activities.
Technology also keeps our scholars motivated, and they will be able to solve problems independently.
Besides that, they will be able to do more projects in all of their classes.
Having additional computers our scholars will be able to be enthusiastic when they complete a I-ready lesson, and plus it will help prepare them for the PARCC, ED Connect test (SCIENCE, and SOCIAL STUDIES).
