This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My scholars are growing in their NYS E.L.A. exam scores, and after great success last school year with 8 of 12 students passing the NYS Earth Science Regents, I wanted to continue the tradition: Barron's Regents Prep! This year, my co-teacher and I are tasked with leading 22 scholars to success on the Living Environment Regents. With your help, we can provide them with materials to prepare for this exam. We also teach 6th and 7th grade science, with our "Everything You Need.." our scholars have rich graphics and text to refer to while supplementing our current learning experiences. With this project, we will also give them access to Drop Everything And Read time!
