My Project
I teach small group reading instruction to those students identified as dyslexic in a middle school setting. These students need exposure to grade level material that is taught is a systematic way. By providing my classroom with these material will allow students to improve their reading and writing. Often reading material for dyslexic students is not appropriate for older students. By supplying my classroom with these materials I would be able to reach more students at the middle school level and it would allow them to become more confident with their reading.
