My Students
My students have developed a passion for mathematics. They come each day eager and ready to dive into learning middle school math. Coming back from distance learning, students are excited to work collaboratively and inactively with each other. They are interested to see how math relates to their everyday life.
My Project
This project will provide the basics for a mathematics classroom. Since the start of the school year, I realized that I was missing important supplies to effectively engage students. These supplies will provide more engaging and interactive class activities that will bring math alive. Being able to have these supplies will transform the students' experiences in my class.
I hope to use these supplies to create meaningful mathematics lessons for my students.
The bins will provide organization for all the different supplies. The highlighters will allow students to emphasize vocabulary words or formulas in their notebooks. The scissors and glue stick will allow students to add interactive components to their notebooks. The manipulatives will allow students to visualize the math concepts. The chart paper will allow me to create anchor charts that students can refer to. With your generosity and willingness to support my classroom, we will have a strong start to teaching and learning!
