My Students

I have students ranging from special needs to students who are placed in the advanced classes.

I have been teaching math for 33 years.

I still love what I do and I enjoy coming to work every day. I am requesting iPads with AppleCare. My goal is to get 35 iPads with covers and a cart to store/charge them in. I will need approximately $18,000 to get what's needed. My students and I would like to thank you for your consideration.

My Project

My students will be able to develop skills needed for the 21st century. My students will be able to research and demonstrate their knowledge of math. I would love to have iPads in my room for my students to use whenever they feel they need to use them for reference or to creatively demonstrate what they have learned going beyond just solving pencil and paper problems. My district is poor, please allow me the means to help my students to not remain the same. I won't be teaching many more years, but I would love to leave behind a legacy that will allow the younger sisters and brothers of former students, and even daughters and sons of former students, to enjoy learning and applying math.
