My Students
Our students love music. Music gives them an overall vitality and enthusiasm for life and provides them with a deep sense of accomplishment and self-worth. They learn to work cooperatively with their peers, focus on instruction and most of all, experience the joy of making music.
Our school is located in a low-income urban neighborhood.
The school is an important part of the community and families depend on us for a high quality, well-rounded education for their children. We want to give our students the chance to study music.
My Project
We need guitar and violin cases for our music program. Your donation will provide students with the violin and guitar cases they need for safely taking them home to practice. As more and more students enroll in the program, we need to provide those students with instruments as well as good quality equipment and supplies. It has been my experience that when students know that there are people out there who care enough to donate materials to them, they find a new vitality and enthusiasm for what they are doing.
Your donation will have an impact on how students view the music program, how much they practice and how they feel about themselves.
Students take better care of instruments when they know it is their “own” to use. They feel special and develop greater self-esteem.
