Middle School Essentials for 6th Graders

Help me give my students some classroom essentials they will need to be successful in the classroom, maintain focus, and be comfortable with the transition from elementary school to middle school.

This project is fully funded

My Project

Transitioning from elementary school to middle school can be very difficult for students. The items I am requesting will help the students transition better. The deodorant, lotion, and pads will be for the students to use to help freshen up after gym class and support the girls with their personal needs. The mints will allow the students to freshen up their breaths after lunch. The bouncy seat will be used as an incentive for good behavior in the classroom. The student of the week will be allowed to use the seat all week to show excellent behavior in school. The standing desk will be helpful for students throughout the classroom during rotations and one-on-one sessions with me and the students. The candy will be used in the school to encourage participation and positive reinforcement when students speak up in class and answer questions. These items will be used as motivation to continue classroom engagement throughout the school year.
