Help me give my students a Middle School CPR Program! Our middle school students are excited to be trained in how to respond to an emergency and we need CPR training equipment to reach this goal!
Our charter school is designed for students with Dyslexia. Students often enter our school with feelings of inadequacy or failure. Many are reading below grade level but have shown the ability to adapt and overcome, conquering the tasks provided. Once the tools are placed in their hands though, they soar! We firmly believe we are shaping world changers. This training is another piece of the puzzle; preparing our students for the future!
Our hope is that this training will not only prepare them for emergency response, but empower them with knowledge!
My Project
Everyone knows someone who has been affected by an emergency. CPR is often required for specific jobs, but is also invaluable in the community. We want our students to be a part of the movement to educate youth on emergency response, early! After their training, our students will be able to recognize an emergency and respond with hands only CPR.
We will use the manikins and supplies to train our students in CPR while they are at school.
As young teens, these students will be in a position to save a life through the knowledge and skills they acquired at school. This will become a part of our school culture that equips students for the future.
