This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager and curious learners who require more hands-on and physical materials to help them learn. Especially with my influx of newcomers, students need more tactile ways to learn. I am requesting materials such as laminating sheets, tabletop dry-erase board, pocket charts, staplers, and so I can create more engaging materials for students to learn.
With these items, I can laminate reference materials, create game boards for students, and add color to their materials.
I can also show students sentence stems and vocabulary with the pocket charts. Additionally, the tape and staplers can be used to create more tactile materials for the students. My goal is that students will have a more equitable experience learning that meets their needs and will help them succeed.
