This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 5th-grade students are hardworking, curious, and eager to learn! They come to class every day ready to take on new challenges, and I love watching them grow into independent thinkers. However, as we reach the middle of the school year, we are running low on essential supplies that help keep our classroom running smoothly.
We are in desperate need of pencils, Clorox wipes, and new headphones.
Pencils may seem small, but they are a critical tool for learning—whether solving math problems, writing stories, or taking notes. Without them, my students struggle to complete their work. Clorox wipes help keep our learning environment clean and safe, reducing germs so students can stay healthy and focused. Our classroom headphones have been well-loved but are now broken, making it difficult for students to engage in individualized digital learning activities, such as math programs and reading interventions.
By providing these essential materials, you will be ensuring that my students have the tools they need to succeed for the rest of the school year. My goal is to create a supportive learning space where every child has access to the supplies necessary to thrive. These students are resilient, creative, and full of potential, and your generosity will make a world of difference in their education.
