This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with over 77% of our students receiving free lunch. Our students speak a multitude of languages. As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are also diverse in their academics as well.
My students are an enthusiastic, eager group of 3rd-grade students who come from very diverse and economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Our school is a Title I school. My students are excited about learning and want to do well. Our class includes gifted learners, English language learners, and students with academic disabilities.
My Project
My students are eager individuals with creative minds. Having a Microsoft Surface Tablet will help my students add depth and complexity to their presentations and will enable them to create directly on the screen.
The Microsoft Surface Tablets have an immense ability to allow students to draw, write, create and develop their projects directly on screen so that they can produce products that reflect their creativity.
It would be a great opportunity for my students to have access to this technology for their learning. My students would be inspired and curious to learn new advances in technology and create learning experiences that reflect what they need to have to be productive learners today.
More than half of students from low‑income households
