Help me give my students a variety of Caroline Biological Supply Company's beginner microscope slide sets, 100 microscope slides with a variety of organisms, as well as blank slides so they can choose their own microscopic adventure!
My 8th grade students have had very few opportunities to do hands on labs. We have functioning microscopes, but no slides. My students have not yet learned about cells and I would love to be able to give them a variety of slides to be able to explore the human body, plants, insects, various everyday items, as well as blank slides for them to explore what they're interested in seeing.
Students need opportunities to practice hands on, practical science skills.
This will also encourage my students to engage more with the material. I want to make sure they have the foundation they need for going on to high school science classes.
