My Project

I live in a village in Alaska. It is extremely expensive to get science supplies here. In addition to the typical prices, the shipping costs are outrageous. As our village's economy is primarily based on tourism, COVID-19 had a tremendous effect on the amount of money available for classroom supplies. It is very important for students to experience science in an interactive way, rather than just reading a textbook, and the addition of 3 quality microscopes to our classroom would be highly beneficial so that students can actually see cells and microorganisms rather than just read about them.
