Microscopes, Magnets, and Mirrors - Oh My! Science Fun Alert!
Help me give my students these fantastic indoor and outdoor microscopes that can be used in the classroom and when we go out in the Bronx River Forest!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We're kicking off the new school year with a new Science curriculum and classroom! Science hasn't always been the top priority at my school, but this year I've been given the opportunity to open a K-5 hands on Science class - and I couldn't be more ec"static" ;)
My students are curious, engaging, and LOVE Science!
I want to give them all of the opportunities they deserve - from exploring with microscopes to studying the weather (with mirrors and "calendars") to experimenting with magnets. I'm excited to dive into all the different science topics with my mini scientists!
