Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how naturally curious, imaginative, and resilient my students are. They’re always asking questions, eager to explore new ideas, and excited to learn in ways that connect to the real world. What makes them truly special is their willingness to collaborate and support one another as they tackle challenges. They thrive when they’re given the chance to learn by doing, especially through hands-on STEM activities that spark both creativity and critical thinking.

By incorporating Micro:bits into our classroom, I’ll be able to offer students engaging opportunities to learn coding, problem-solving, and robotics in an accessible and meaningful way.

These small but powerful devices will allow students to design and program interactive projects, helping them build essential 21st-century skills like computational thinking, collaboration, and digital literacy. With the right tools, my students will not only learn how technology works—they’ll also see themselves as the next generation of innovators, engineers, and creators.
