My Students

I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the students at STEM Academy. My students come from diverse backgrounds and work in a collaborative, problem-based learning environment. They strive for excellence while developing high-level thinking skills and the skills needed for leadership, oral communication and real world situations.

In 6th grade Research, students learn the fundamentals of science and engineering, as well as coding, while working in a positive classroom environment.

My students are enthusiastic and passionate while learning to be critical and creative thinkers.

My Project

Students in my class are very vibrant and ready to learn. We are in need of several supplies that will help put my students on a path to success. We are requesting iPad microphones to create films, dry erase boards to brainstorm ideas and sharpies for every day use.

My students will be creating films for various projects in research this year.

Having microphones for their iPads will students help produce videos with great sound quality.

Brainstorming is a process that we use in class often and students really need dry erase boards to work through brainstorming. Having dry erase boards will make the process much easier.

In addition, we are also in need of black sharpies and printer toner as well.
