Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My English Language Learner (ELL) students are enthusiastic, hardworking, and eager to grow their language skills—but they need the right tools to help them succeed. This project will provide our classroom with microphones, headphones, and a laminator to support interactive, tech-powered learning activities.
Microphones and headphones will allow students to record their voices, practice pronunciation, listen to modeled speech, and engage in language-rich digital programs without distraction.
The laminator will help preserve reusable learning materials like sentence frames, vocabulary cards, and speaking supports that make lessons more accessible and engaging.
With these resources, my students will build confidence in speaking, listening, and expressing themselves in English. Your support helps ensure they are heard—literally and figuratively—as they take charge of their learning journey!
