This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books would engage and build the love of reading for the students in my class. Reading is a fundamental part of Pre-K and each year we explore caterpillars and read The Very Hungry Caterpillar book.
We just need your help to give us the opportunity of putting a copy in each students hands, so that they can feel part of the reading experience.
Each student would have a book to read and follow along as I read the story. The first step to reading is for students to follow along and learn how to use a book. These books would give students the foundation of reading for many years.
