My Students
My students come into school eager and ready to learn every day. Most of my students come from low-income households, and they all receive free breakfast and lunch. We are working very hard this school year to improve our academic progress, especially our literacy performance. My students are working hard to help achieve our goals this school year.
Art class gives my little artists the brain break they need throughout the day.
We are still learning about different artists, different art mediums, as well as different cultures. Our environment is a little bit more relaxed then their classrooms. My students are learning to become problem solvers, thinkers, and dreamers. I am amazed by their imagination and creativity every single day. Please help me bring their imaginations to life through their artworks!
My Project
My students need some additional to supplies to help our art curriculum soar! The 80 lb paper will be durable enough for my little artists to use wet mediums, such as paint and ink. When we are painting we need a drying rack to help dry the masterpieces we create without making a huge mess of the art room. The drying rack will also help me keep my students artworks organized. The smocks will help my little artists keep their clothes nice and clean from paint and water spills.
In the art room my students are constantly learning new routines and procedures that help them to become responsible for themselves.
These materials will help the flow of my classroom and give the students some more independence. They will be able to place their paintings on the drying rack themselves instead of waiting for me to find an area for the paintings to go. The drying rack will also prevent students artworks from touching while drying so it will not ruin anything else. The smocks are easy for my little ones to put on and off with ease.
