I need 23 books about coaching, collective efficacy, and teacher observations to mentor beginning teachers.

My Students

I teach over 500 students in Kansas. I try to find new and interesting ways to help my students learn. However, I am in need of some new resources so that my students can benefit from the new research and techniques in education.

Most recently, I have become very excited about helping to mentor teachers to help them become better educators.

I currently have a student teacher and have helped with many professional developments.

My students are excited to learn and I want to help them be the best students they can be. Please help me get some new books and resourses to become a beter mentor.

My Project

I remember my first year teaching. It was scary and overwhelming. I want to help new teachers by helping to coach and mentor them as they start their journey in education. With better training and preparedness teachers will have a greater collective efficacy as well as a shared leadership in the school.

Most teachers quit the profession within five years of becoming a teacher and a mentoring program could lead to higher retention rates among new teachers.

I have been a teacher for seventeen years and want to help these new teachers flourish!
